Dip Braze and Heat Treat

Continental Microwave & Tool has the equipment and expertise to dip braze and heat treat all types of waveguide materials. The dip braze tank is thermocouple-controlled and capable of maintaining temperatures of 1100 ± 2 degrees Fahrenheit. The quality of brazed joints conforms to MIL-B-007883, Grade A and/or Grade B and/or ANSI/A WS C3.7, Class B for non-critical fittings and structural applications.
Preheating is in accordance with MIL-H-6088 or AMS-2770. The preheat ovens are capable of maintaining temperatures of 1000 ± 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
Formability of aluminum alloys is greatly improved by annealing. CMT offers annealing ovens capable of maintaining temperatures to 750 degrees Fahrenheit and localized or torch annealing to treat a specific area of material.
